The International Journal of Lower Extremity Wounds (IJLEW) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal (Impact Factor: 1.366) publishing original research, reviews of evidence-based diagnostic techniques and methods, disease and patient management, and surgical and medical therapeutics for lower extremity wounds such as burns, stomas, ulcers, fistulas, and traumatic wounds. IJLEW also offers evaluations of assessment and monitoring tools, dressings, gels, cleansers, pressure management, footwear/orthotics, casting, and bioengineered skin.

Through the partnership with IJLEW, AWCA opens opportunities for young and experienced investigators to contribute their works to publish in the SCI-level journal. Clinical paper has to be generated by Asian doctors conducted in Asian hospital and accepted to publish in the Asian Version (March & September issues) of IJLEW.

Any clinical research that has been accepted by AWCA and IJLEW editorial board for publication in the International Journal of Lower Extremity Wounds would be supported. The AWCA is going to elect its own Asian Editorial Board for and will provide USD2,000 of scholarships for those surgeons who publish their papers. 

Applicants are encouraged to officially submit an application form to AWCA at least 3 months before the event.
